How can I make a tax deductible donation to support the Electric City Community Grocery?

Electric City Community Grocery has a fiscal sponsorship through Cooperative Development Services, a 501(c)3 with a strongly aligned mission. This means we may accept philanthropic donations!  


How to make a tax-deductible donation via check:

Please write a check to the Cooperative Development Fund of CDS, and then mail your check to our PO Box, along with the bottom of this form. 

  • Checks should be made payable to the “Cooperative Development Fund of CDS”

  • In the memo line note “Electric City Community Grocery”.

    • Please do NOT “Pay to the order of Electric City Community Grocery”.

  • Please send your check to ECCG for bundling at the address below:

We will bundle it with other checks and send it along to them to CDS (they are actually based in Eagan, Minnesota).


You will receive an acknowledgement of your donation from the Cooperative Development Fund of CDS for contributions of $250 and over. You can use your canceled check to document donations of less than $250 when filing taxes.
