Competition for the People's Choice Sweet Pie category was intensely delicious this year!  Beloved Community Pie Social winners from 2025 came back with delectable crowd favorites - from Zane, Leila, and Micah's Hot Chocolate Pie to Monica Cook's Southern Brown Sugar Custard Pie. This year's crowd favorite for "Best of Sweet Pies" went to Zeta Klemmer (MO#925) and faer partner Riah Helton (MO#1365) for this scrumptious Biscoff Banana Creme Pie.  Thanks to Zeta and Riah for baking and sharing! 
 

Ingredients:


For the Crust:

  • 8.8oz package Biscoff cookies

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 1 large banana, sliced into discs

  • 2 instant banana cream pudding mix, 3.4 oz packages

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream

  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar


Instructions:


For the crust

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  • Place cookies in a food processor or blender and pulse until fine crumbs.

  • Drizzle in melted butter until coated.

  • Pour into a 9 or 9 ½ inch pie pan and press the crumbs into an even layer and up the sides of the pan.

  • Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely


For the Pie

  • Line the bottom of the pie crust with sliced bananas

  • Whisk together the banana cream pudding mixes with 2 cups of cold milk until smooth

  • Meanwhile beat 1 ½ cups of whipping cream and 3 tbsp powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.

  • Fold ½  cup of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully combined.

  • Pour into the pie crust and spread to an even layer.

  • Chill for 3 hours.

Once ready to serve, top the pie with the remaining whipped cream.
Garnish with extra Biscoff cookie crumbs if desired.
